My child is 8, but the class is for ages 9 and up. Can he still participate?
The age guidelines are not set in stone. You know best if your child is capable of doing the work in a specified class. If you think your child would enjoy something, but the age listed does not fit with your child's age- please contact me! I will be happy to give you more information on what the class entails.

Are family discounts available?
The family discounts are determined by the individual instructors. The administration fee is per family, not per student.

What are the costs of the classes?
Each instructor sets the cost of the classes. GA-EPH does not profit from the class fees. A percentage of the instructors’ fees is retained to help cover the rental expense.

If my child does not like the class can I get a refund?
Our policy is no refunds once the session begins.

Do I have to continue to pay the administration fee after I have paid for 3 sessions?
Yes, we offer a discount for families that choose to pay the annual fee during the first 2 sessions.

If I register for the entire year and a class is canceled, will I get a refund?
Yes, if a class is canceled, you will receive a refund for the cost of the class.

If I register for a future session, will I be able to make changes in classes if I decide that I don’t want to take a certain class?
Yes, you will be able to make changes until the deadline for that session.

Are administration fees refundable?
No, we will not be able to refund administration fees. If all enrolled classes are canceled, the adminstration fee will be refunded with your class refund.

What if my child misses a class? Will I get a refund?
Refunds cannot be given after session has started.

Is the program religion based?
No, our program is a secular program. We welcome everyone.

Can I drop my child off and leave during class time?
No, this is not a drop off program. A parent should remain at Robert School during class times. However, you can make arrangements with other families attending classes to be responsible for you children. You may alternate hours or even weeks.

Is there a place for me to wait with my other children?
Yes, there is a waiting area for parents and siblings. There is also a fenced in basketball court and an outside gazebo. No children should be left unattended.

What qualifications do the instructors have to teach my child?
We have hired qualified and trained instructors for our program. Each instructor must also complete a Georgia background check prior to teaching

Do you follow the school systems calendar?
No, you will need to check dates for each session.

What do we do in the event of inclement weather?
We will cancel classes if Cobb County Schools are out due to inclement weather.

CLASS DAY & HOURS
Classes are held on Wednesdays only each week. There will be four sessions. Each session will be 8 weeks long. Please review the calendar for start/end dates. Classes are held on Wednesday only from 9:30 AM to 4:10 PM. This does not mean that you may drop your child off at any time during these hours. Each child has their own schedule and your child is not to be left unattended during these hours if they do not have a scheduled class. Most classes are designed to run 1 hour and 10 minutes however, some classes are 55-minute (some preschool classes are 45 minutes). This allows 5 minutes for students to move between classes. There is a 35 minute break beginning at 11:55 for lunch. The teacher is expected to be in the room prior to class time each week in order for students to be dropped off.

Classes are provided for preschool through middle school.

REGISTRATION
You must complete an enrollment form for each session. You must also complete a Participation Agreement. Forms and checks must be received by deadline dates in order to receive the 5% discount. Instructors will be notified on the deadline date to determine class size. Some classes may be canceled if minimum number of students is not met.

ATTENDANCE
Students are expected to be in attendance when the classes are in session. Classes should begin on time and students should arrive approximately 5 minutes prior to class to ensure classes begin on schedule. Please assist your student with their class locations, as we do not take responsibility of moving the student from class to class. Please make sure your child knows his/her schedule.

All students are expected to behave in a manner appropriate to an educational setting.
